Harris County Courts
Most of the Civil Courts are located in the new Civil Courthouse located at 201 Caroline, between Congress and Franklin in downtown Houston. The most convenient parking is in the parking garage at 1400 Congress, enter off of Austin or LaBranch streets. Remember, you will have to pass through security (metal detector) when you enter the building, so allow sufficient time to do so in order to be on time for your court appearance. With so many courts located in one building, the security lines are long and slow in the mornings and the elevators take time too.
